Workplace Health and Safety? Not at Woolworths

OK, time for a bit of a rant. These 3 images are ones i took with my phone at work to show just what we have to put up with from the people at the Acacia Ridge distribution centre. They have been causing more and more problems for south side stores in the last few months because they are getting upset about working conditions. Because of that, we are getting deliveries with half of what we ordered come in and the way they pack them is a problem as well.

Keep in mind that this is just over $950 worth of 1.25L Coke... (576 bottles per pallet x $1.65 each)

Does this look safe to you?

How it looked on the truck when it arrived after we cleaned up the loose pepsi bottles

It was bad enough that the truck was late with the delivery, but it took even longer because we had to clean up bottles of soft drinks that had gone all over the floor of the truck because of poorly stacked boxes ontop of the pallets. The way they put the stock on the pallets went against any sort of guidelines that are in place.

Im surprised that i didnt lose any of the 1.25L cokes when i was pulling it off the truck to be honest. It was leaning so much when i turned corners. We ended up having to have someone push up against it to stop it falling.

And the store manager still has the nerve to say that we dont do anything while he isnt there...

Wow, that's horrible. I wonder what would happen if you were to show this to local government and newspapers?

And this is neither here nor there, but since I'm stuck with crappy American phones, I can't help but ask what kind of cellphone you have? Because my phone cannot dream of taking pictures with half the quality of yours.
